What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide them. Your phone number, company name, the services you are interested in, and the message you write. These fields are sent to us by email and are used only to respond to your enquiry and to carry on any resulting conversation.
We do not sell this information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking us to.
Information collected automatically
If, and only if. You accept analytics cookies, we load Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics 4. That collects standard usage data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and how you move through the site. It is used in aggregate to understand what is worth improving.
If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics scripts are loaded at all. We use Google Consent Mode with every storage category set to denied by default, and the Tag Manager container itself is not injected into the page until consent is granted.
Cookies and local storage
The only thing this site stores on your device before you consent is your consent choice itself, held in your browser's local storage under the keyheylix-consent. It records nothing but "granted" or "denied", never leaves your browser, and exists so we do not ask you the same question on every page.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish repeat visits. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings. To change your mind after the fact, clear this site's stored data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font CDN, so simply loading a page does not disclose your IP address to any external service.
Legal basis and your rights
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies, and on legitimate interest for responding to an enquiry you chose to send us. Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, we process your data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the form.
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data, where we have no obligation to keep it;
- stop processing it, or withdraw consent you previously gave.
Email contact@heylixmedia.com and we will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.
How long we keep things
Enquiry emails are retained for as long as there is an active or plausibly reviving business conversation, and are deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, which does not identify you by name.
Who else sees your data
Enquiries are delivered to our email, hosted by our email provider. Analytics data, when you have consented, is processed by Google. Our website is hosted by Hostinger, whose server logs may record standard request information. We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not transfer it for anyone else's marketing.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a third-party site, that site's own privacy policy governs what it does. We are not responsible for the practices of sites we link to.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
